Just noticed the event timing on the French version of the Etape Mondovelo website. They're giving 10h 30m as a total disqualification time. This is a whole hour more than last year over similar distance / ascent. See http://www.letapedutour.com/2009/ETDT/presentation/us/itineraire.htm
More than comfortable I would say. We don't get to see the medal timings until the start village.
Noticed the temperature in Tarbes today at the finish, 35 degrees !!
